Musei in Musica: when music and art speak the same language

The first appointment of an unusual program of concerts, inspired by the history and iconography of the main Museums of Florence, in collaboration with Musei Civici Fiorentini e MUS.E. The project consists of six concerts (three in springtime + three in autumn) which are part of exceptional artistic experiences inside some of the most beutiful venues of the city. Within this project, Music and Art enter into dialogue in order to entertain the audience with multiple stories. 

The seven last words of our savious n the cross by Franz Joseph Haydn meet The Crucifixion by Andrea Bonaiuti, a fourteenth century fresco on the north wall of the Spanish Chapel, part of the wide and fascinating complex of Santa Maria Novella.

The concerts start at 11:30  and 15:00

All the events of the project “Musei in Musica” consist of an artistic introduction edited by MUS.E, followed by a music performance by La Filharmonie; the whole experience lasts 1h15 approx. and can be attended with the regular ticket of the museum. 

Full ticket € 7,50 > 18 years;
Reduced € 5  from 11 to 18 years;
Free ticket: residents of Florence, under 11 years, disabled with carer.
