Biographies
Costanza Principe
Out of a family of musicians, she debuted at the early age of 7. Graduated with honours in 2010 at Conservatorio Giuseppe Verdi in Milano under the guidance of Vincenzo Balzani. She obtained her Bachelor of Music with First Class Honours at the Royal Academy of Music with Christopher Elton in 2015 and her Master of Arts with Dinstinction and the DipRam, the highest award for an outstanding final performance. Winner of three consequent awards from the Martin Musical Scholarship Fund in 2013, 2014, and 2015 she is also the recepient of one of the Craxton Memorial Awards in 2015. Currently she studies with Benedetto Lupo at Accademia Nazionale di Santa Cecilia in Rome, and, at the same time, she is pursuing a degree in Psychology at the Bicocca University of Milan.
Emilio Botto
Born in Florence, Emilio Botto has been studying trumpet since the age of 12. After graduating with honours at Conservatorio “Luigi Cherubini” in Firenze, he specialised in baroque repertoire with baroque instruments at “Koninklijk Conservatorium” in Aia, where he obtained with honours his “Master of Music” in 2021. He is currently performing in Italy and abroad, both within ensembles with traditional baroque instruments and contemporary orchestras. He worked, among others, with “Residentie Orkest” in Aia; ensemble “Holland Baroque”; Orchestra Sinfonica di Sanremo; “Barokorkest Florilegium musicum”; Choir “Costanzo Porta”.
Giulio Arnofi
Conductor and artistic secretary of Lerici Music Festival. From January 2022, he is Artistic Director of la Filharmonie – Orchestra Filarmonica di Firenze.He works both as a musician and as a cultural operator. He also gave lectures on history of music. According to his past and upcoming commitments, he worked and will work for the Orchestra di Padova e del Veneto, the strings of ORT Orchestra della Toscana; Symphonic Orchestra LaVerdi di Milano, the Kosovo Philharmonic Orchestra, the FVG Orchestra (Music and Symphonic Institution of Friuli Venezia Giulia), La Filharmonie – Orchestra Filarmonica di Firenze, the Young Musicians European Orchestra. Commitments in Romania, Turkey and Mexico.From 2012 to 2018 he has been Assistant Conductor of Accademia Corale V. Veneziani di Ferrara.He studied at G. Frescobaldi Conservatory in Ferrara and at G.B. Martini Conservatory in Bologna, where in addition to Conducting he studied also Composition with M°Cristina Landuzzi. He finished his studies in Conducting at G. Verdi Conservatory of Milan with M° Daniele Agiman.
