Stella Maris is a meditation journey in music, featuring a selection of compositions by the Benedictine nun Hildegard von Bingen dedicated to the Virgin Mary. Julia Berger and the female voices of the vocal-instrumental group “Lux Vivens” present and perform eight chants, always followed by the Magnificat – five antiphons, one sequence, and two responsories – in a deeply engaging expressive crescendo.
The audience is invited to join in the singing of the Magnificat at the end of each antiphon and responsory.
